Warm A Heart By Warming A Home

This annual KWWF campaign highlights the extreme desperation many Wisconsinsites feel as the the cold of winter sets in as we approach the holiday season. The campaign works like this: for a donation of one dollar, the donor writes their name or a message on a yellow paper house, which is then hung up for display in local convenience stores and other organizations in the Madison area. A total of 22 Madison are PDQ's, 11 Kelley's Markets, Sentry-Hilldale, The Bar Next Door, The Coliseum Bar and Sunset Ridge Elementary School participated in the 2006 event. The bright yellow houses all around the city create awareness of the KWWF, and last year raised over $19,500, including the state match! Participate in this year's event and warm someone's home while warming your heart knowing you're helping someone in need in your community.
